Description	Gladwyn Nichols, pictured as he appeared when he led the Angelus Temple band. He was to be called as a witness for organist Brignall when his suit against Aimee Semple McPherson over the battle of music and so-called "inferior schedules" came to trial in Los Angeles. He is quoted, "I was Mrs. McPherson's slave, working to give the best music in the country, until I felt the spirit of worldliness creeping into the temple. It was like a bombshell when she appeared in the pulpit with her hair bobbed."
