Historical Data	The Fox Uptown Theatre was located at 1008 So. Western Avenue in Los Angeles and was built in 1925. It ran first-run movies for Fox, seating 1,600 people, and had a large roof-top sign. It was demolished in 1963.
Description	Shows exterior of a long building name West Coast Uptown Theater in very large letters on the roof. Three placards set in the entranceway of the theater. The marquee advertises: Raymond Griffith and Marion Nixon in "Hands Up", Charles Nelson & his Playboys, comedy and news. The rest of the building to the left and right of the entrance houses other businesses. Architect: L.A. Smith.
