Historical Data	Los Angeles City Hall was designed by Associated Architects John C. Austin, John Parkinson and Albert C. Martin, and built in 1926-28. It was the tallest building in Los Angeles until the 1950s. This Goodhue-esque structure has classical detailing at the base (Greek-main entrance and romanesque-arcade), with a moderne campanile-like tower influenced by Ziggurat construction. It is made of light-colored California granite.
