Description	Hollywood director William Desmond Taylor was murdered Feb. 2, 1922 and the crime went unsolved. Shown here is a portrait of Taylor which was published 6 years later when a confession was received from a Folsom prison convict, J.C. Barrett. The confession was later discounted.It was published again a couple years later when another another piece of information surfaced from someone named Richardson.
