Historical Data	Designer Karen Kane, an alumna of FIDM in Los Angeles, works with a team of about 30, made up of cutters, sewers, patternmakers, and designer assistants to create clothing for women are in their 20s to 50s. Karen Kane is sold in all 50 states and boasts four outlet stores and three divisions. Four times a year the company produces 420 different product styles, and sales have topped $80 million.
