Historical Data	L.A. County Hospital and USC Medical School were first affiliated in 1885, so the hospital is commonly known as Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center, as well as County USC. It has become one of the largest and busiest public hospitals and medical training centers in the western United States; offering 745 inpatient beds, treating over 28% of the region's trauma victims, recording nearly 39,000 inpatient discharges, 150,000 emergency department visits, and approximately 1 million ambulatory care visits per year.
Description	Aerial view of East Los Angeles and Boyle Heights neighborhoods; view is looking east. Los Angeles County Hospital (the Art Deco building), located at 1200 N. State Street sits at the middle. The San Bernardino Freeway (10) runs from the bottom right corner to upper middle; Marengo Street is visible bottom left to middle right; Mission Road is visible bottom left to middle left; Valley Boulevard is visible from middle left to upper left; Soto Street runs middle right to middle left. To the northwest of the hospital is the Los Angeles County Juvenile Hall. Photograph dated May 4, 1957.
