Historical Data	The $2,500,000. research and development center of the Richfield Oil Corp. was built on a 20-acre site adjacent to the Santa Ana Freeway at the west edge of Anaheim, and opened on October 23, 1956. It comprises a laboratory building, administration building, pilot plant, engine laboratory building, shops and a warehouse building.
Description	Aerial view of Richfield Oil Corp. research plant, located on Crescent Way and Muller Street and adjacent to the Santa Ana (5) Freeway in Anaheim; view is looking slightly northwest. Crescent Way is diagonally at upper left, bending just below the 5 freeway (mid-photo), and paralleling it to middle right; Muller Street starts at middle (below the freeway), and runs diagonally to bottom left; the Santa Ana (5) Freeway is diagonally middle right to top left. Several large groves can be seen scattered throughout among the neighborhoods. Photograph dated November 14, 1956.
