Historical Data	Robert Gair Co., Inc., purchased the Angelus Paper Box Co. in 1954 at a cost of $3,618,000. The Angelus Paper box Co. operated two plants, a main plant located at 6001 S. Eastern Avenue, and a smaller plant near 61st and Avalon Boulevard. After the purchase, the two units operated as Angelus Paperbox Co,, Division of the Robert Gair Co., Inc.

A water tower in middle of plant (visible on middle right) reads, "L.A. Paper Box and Board Mills". View is looking east, with the AT & SF tracks running up the center; plant is to the right of tracks. Photograph dated November 22, 1955.
