Historical Data	The Dominguez-Wilshire Building, located at 5410 Wilshire Boulevard, was built in 1930 and was designed by architects Morgan, Walls and Clements as an eight-story Art Deco (Zig-Zag) Moderne tower on a two-story base.
Description	Photographer's caption reads, "Members of the monthly Art Deco Society of Los Angeles Miracle Mile tour carefully examine the elegant entrance to the Dominguez Wilshire Building. Art Deco's influence is from Egyptian, classical Greek, and Roman design and architecture as well as from nature. The geometric, repetitive shapes are intriguing and sometimes mysterious. Mitzi Mogul, ADSLA President, told the group that there is no underlying symbolic meaning to Art Deco. It is ornamental, meant to be beautiful and fun to look at."
