Physical Description	1 photographic print :b&w ;29 x 36 cm.
Description	Photo shows a fenced off section of Echo Park Recreation Center with signs that read: "No dogs allowed. L.A.M.C. 63.44 B.F." and "Restricted child care area. Closed to the public. Mon-Fri-7am-6pm". The ironic thing about this picture is that there is a long line of people, all with their dogs, walking up to a table - maybe signing their pooches up for obediance school. The Echo Park Recreation Center, built in a Spanish Colonial style, was designed by Allied Architects and opened in 1925. The Hollywood Freeway located immediately behind the center bisected Echo Park in the 1950s. The street seen in the background is Glendale Boulevard. Photograph dated January 10, 1998.
