Historical Data	Harold Ramser was born in Ashton, South Dakota on February 3, 1908. He was a prominent businessman involved in Republican politics in California. He died on May 15, 1989. In 1989, the Yankee Valor Handicap was renamed The Harold C. Ramser Sr. Handicap in his honor. The event is an American thoroughbred horse race run annually in October during the Oak Tree Racing Association at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California.; The Philharmonic Auditorium was located on Olive Street in Downtown Los Angeles. It was built by Temple Baptist Church which held services on Sundays. It was also used for Broadway shows produced by the Los Angeles Civic Light Opera for 27 seasons. After the LACLO and the L.A. Philharmonic moved to the Music Center in 1964, the building was again known as Temple Baptist Church. It was demolished in 1985.

Mrs. Ramser is president of the Assistance League of Southern California. First-nighters stopped show several times by storms of applause." The group is attending the premiere of the musical 'Kismet' at the Philharmonic Auditorium in Los Angeles. The women are holding furs.
