Historical Data	Mary Pickford was a Canadian-born silent film actress, famously known as "America's sweetheart" co-founder of American Artists film studio, and one of the original founders of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
Description	Photograph caption dated November 11, 1939 reads "Mary Pickford returned to Hollywood today for a two weeks visit in the film capital where she reigned as queen for so many years. 'Buddy will be away from New York for a fortnight playing one night stands so I took advantage of this opportunity to fly out and see about some business details,' said Mary as she alighted from the American Airlines' Mercury. Miss Pickford, who looked younger and more charming than ever, said that maybe she would be flying herself to the west coast some day. 'I have my own Fairchild you know and am most enthusiastic about learning to fly it. I'm not doing so badly either.'"
