Description	First photograph caption dated October 25, 1935 reads, "In a real life mother role happier than any she has played on the screen, Ann Harding is shown with her daughter, 7-year-old Jane Bannister, whose custody she won yesterday in a court session that marked the end of three months of litigation. Harry Bannister, Miss Harding's husband, had sought to void a Nevada court order granting Miss Harding her daughter's custody. The court ruled Bannister could visit little Jane in Miss Harding's Hollywood home."; Second photograph caption dated May 29, 1936 reads, "Determined to sail for England tomorrow, Ann Harding, blonde patrician film star, arrived in Montreal, Canada, today with her daughter, Jane. Photo shows mother and daughter, who expect to sail from Quebec tomorrow. Questioned about reports her ex-husband, Harry Bannister, was trying to prevent her from taking Jane to England, Miss Harding said there was no way he could stop her."; Third photograph caption dated November 15, 1938 reads, "A request of film actress Ann Harding to take her daughter Jane Bannister, 7, with whom she is shown above, to Baltimore, was scheduled for a hearing today in court. She is bound by a custody order to ask permission each time she wants to take the child, her daughter by a former husband, Harry Bannister, out of the state."
