Historical Data	Lana Turner and Henry J. Topping married on April 26, 1948 at the Bel-Air estate of "The Hollywood Reporter" publisher William R. Wilkerson, the man who discovered Turner at a drive-in on Sunset Boulevard sipping on a coke. Topping would be Turner's third husband and fourth marriage (Turner was twice married to her second husband, Stephen Crane). The marriage lasted about four years. They divorced on December 12, 1952.
Description	Photograph caption dated January 10, 1948 reads "To be or not to be bride and bridegroom--That's the big question." Seen here are Lana Turner, wearing a fur coat and carrying another, and millionaire tin-plate heir, Henry J. (Bob)Topping Jr. The couple arrived in Pasadena, California after traveling on the Santa Fe Chief, coming from the East. They arrived about 12 hours late for a $25, 000 champagne party, to have been hosted by Topping, at the Mocambo. However, Topping canceled the party just the day before disappointing a guest list of about 400 people.
