Description	Photograph caption dated January 22, 1985 reads, "Masked protesters, above, are some of 300 people who demonstrated at the Federal Building in Los Angeles yesterday against U.S. policies in El Salvador. Eight people were cited for trespassing and one man was arrested, according to police Sgt. Robert Griffen, as federal officers, right, dragged demonstrators from entrances to the building on Los Angeles Street. The demonstration was planned to coincide with President Reagan's Inauguration in Washington and was part of a planned national campaign, according to spokeswoman Nancy Smith. The plan was that if a U.S. invasion of Central America were to occur, 10,000 people would subject themselves to arrest on federal property, she said. General Services Administration spokeswoman Mary Filippini said that when officers asked the demonstrators to move from the doorways of the building, they did so but then came back. When they refused to move a second time, eight of them were issued citations. A man who returned a third time was arrested and will be arraigned Monday."
