, was
founded
and
dedicated
on
September
4
,
1928
and
is
one
of the
oldest
pet
cemeteries
on the
West
Coast
. The
cemetery
is
comprised
of
ten
landscaped
acres
that
provide
a
serene
and
peaceful
resting
place
for
over
40,000
animal
companions
.
It
is
the
final
resting
place
for
such
celebrity
animals
as "
Pete
"
(the
Little
Rascals
'
dog)
, "
Topper
"
(Hopalong
Cassidy's
horse)
, and "
Kabar
"
(Rudolph
Valentino's
faithful
dog)
. The
park
is
located
at
5068
N
.
Old
Scandia
Lane
and
is
open
for
visitation
every
day
of the
year
.
