Description	The difference of 5 cents created a bitter price slashing war between two parking lots in Hollywood today. The operator of the lot in foreground said, "I cut my all-day fee from 25 cents to 20. I went down to a nickel (arrow, left) when price slashing started in earnest." The other operator said, "...then he dropped again and I did the same, finally to 10 cents (arrow, at right). Sure it's silly." Photo dated: May 10, 1949.
