Description	Photograph caption dated May 22, 1988 reads, "After the defending NBA champs suffered a humbling defeat in Game 6 against the Jazz, Magic Johnson takes control, driving down the Forum floor past Utah's Bob Hansen, left, and Mark Eaton to propel the Lakers to a 109-98 win that earned them a meeting with Dallas in Western Conference finals." The Lakers defeated Dallas in the conference finals and went on to the NBA finals, where they then defeated Detroit for the championship title.
