Description	Photograph caption reads: "The California Highway Patrol shuts down the southbound lanes of the Harbor Freeway from Rosecrans to Redondo Beach Boulevard after a 55-gallon barrel of sulpheric acid spilled on the freeway. Curious motorists slowed down traffic on the northbound lanes after this morning's spill, which required several hours to clean. No one was injured in the mishap." ; "Scene looking south from RR bridge over Harbor Freeway at about 149th Street. A hazmat spill had closed the southbound lanes visible left top and backed up traffic due to spectating by northbound drivers." ; "Fuming over freeway spill: Southbound lanes of the Harbor Freeway from Rosecrans Avenue to Redondo Beach Boulevard were closed for over five hours yesterday after a 750-pound barrel of battery acid fell off a truck at 9 a.m. CHP Officer William Webster said moderate temperatures kept the dangerous fumes to a minimum, and no one was injured..."
