Historical Data	Crabbe was a winning olympian who competed in both 1928 (bronze medalist for the 1,500 metres freestyle) and 1932 (gold medalist for the 400 metres freestyle). In the 1950s, he was a popular film and television actor, who portrayed such characters as Tarzan and Buck Rogers.
Description	Mickey Riley, Dutch Smith and Buster Crabbe pose in LAAC (Los Angeles Athletic Club) swimming suits for the second annual one-mile rough-water swim held on May 10, 1930. The swim started in Santa Monica at the Deauville Beach Club and finished at the Sea Breeze Club. Photograph dated July 8, 1930.
