Description	Street-yard legend Raymond Lewis, shooting hoops at a Long Beach playground. An all-league guard at Verbum Dei High School, he starred at Cal State L.A. for two years before being drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers in 1973. Despite his jaw-dropping shooting range, Lewis never played in the NBA, done in by an unfortunate combination of contract disputes, bad advice, and hard living. He died in 2001. Photo dated: March 28, 1985.
