Description	Illustrating the great and immediate need on August 31, 1954, for money is this scene of one of the children's wards at Rancho Los Amigos Hospital, where more than 100 persons must be helped to breate by the huge iron lungs. The Emergency March of Dimes is seeking $500,000 to continue patient care here, where more than one million dollars has been spent by the polio mercy group, as well as throughout the city in other hospitals.
