Description	Bird's-eye view of the 900 block, East Pico Boulevard, where a violent explosion blew up the O'Connor Electro-Plating Corp. building and destroyed four residences nearby. The arrow points to the spot where the O'Connor building once stood. At least 30 persons were killed and more than 1000 others were injured in the tragedy. This aerial photo was taken from the Goodyear blimp piloted by Comdr. R. H. Hobesack. Photo dated: February 20, 1947.
