Description	Mr. Cornwell stands in front of his mural, with paint palette in hand. His assistant is on the right. Mural portrays the founding of Los Angeles by Governor Felipe de Neve. It is one of 12 panels which presents the story of Los Angeles and encompasses 300 human figures. This panel is entitled "Founding of Los Angeles" and currently hangs on the west wall, in the rotunda, of the Los Angeles Public Library. Photo dated: July 14, 1932.
