Description	Photograph caption dated April 3, 1986 reads, "The recognition-hungry of glamorous Glendale stood for a birthday portrait under a flawless San Fernando Valley sky yesterday, and photographer Bruce Snider caught the scene. Summoned to the 500 block of Brand Blvd. by fliers in their mailboxes, the citizens were marking the town's 80th birthday. Incorporated in 1906, Glendale last year hired a public relations firm for $300,000 to boost its image."
