Description	Farewell was said by Seabiscuit to Santa Anita on April 11, 1940, scene of his greatest triumph. Holder of three track records and winner of the Santa Anita $100,000 Handicap, which propelled him to the world's money championship, Seabiscuit is seen being loaded on a van for Hollywood Park. He will remain at Hollypark a week, then will be sent to the C. S. Howard ranch at Willits. Coincident with 'Biscuits departure from 'Anita came the announcement that he was a father for the fourth time. Trainer Tom Smith, Seabiscuit's constant companion, is shown in the photo ever watchful as his champion said "so long, Santa Anita."
