Due to the extensive redevelopment of Highland Avenue between Hollywood Boulevard and Franklin Avenue since the early-2000s, the segment of Hillcrest Road identified by the street sign (center) has been redesigned and renamed.
Description	Looking north from the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue, October 1983. Visible, from left to right, a 2-story commercial building, a Chevron gas station, the Hollywood United Methodist Church, homes in the Hollywood Hills, various businesses along the eastern side of Highland Avenue, including Ting Ho Mandarin Chinese food restaurant, and a glimpse of the Hollywood First National Bank Building.
