Historical Data	The Charro Cavalcade on September 2, 1981 celebrated the arrival of Mexican charros who had departed on horseback a month earlier from Mexico City. They, as well as local charros, were greeted and honored by Los Angeles Mayor Tom Bradley and Mexico City Mayor Prof. Carlos Hank Gonzales during an hour-long public ceremony at La Plaza.
Description	Audience members look on as horsemen participating in the Charro Cavalcade, one of the special events celebrating the Los Angeles Bicentennial, ride past the Pico House upon their arrival to La Plaza.
