Historical Data	The Fort Moore Pioneer Memorial includes a 68-foot high concrete pylon with a 16-foot terra-cotta bas-relief of an American eagle, designed by noted sculptor Albert Stewart. Groundbreaking for the memorial took place on July 13, 1953 and was completed in 1957.
