Description	Forty G.I.'s and their families will "invade" new homes in a caravan of 40 moving vans and autos at the Kaiser Community Homes projects in the Westchester district of southwest Los Angeles. The homes have but recently been completed and will be ready for occupancy when the hegira arrives with utilities men standing by to even turn on the gas, lights and water. According to Fritz B. Burns, President of the Kaiser Community Homes project, which has rushed these homes to completion for the mass moving in, this is the first good news of the year on housing shortages as it signifies the fast construction of homes now being accomplished. Ten homes are being built a day, with ten thousand of these homes scheduled to be built during the year. Cost per home varies slightly in the different tracks, with all substantially below $10,000 figured on the basis of $615.00 down and approximately $55.00 a month payment on them.
