Description	Unemployed are taking advantage of the new vacation courses at Los Angeles evening high schools. With teachers paid by the federal government and classrooms donated by the city school district, a free educational program is now under way for unemployed persons. Most of the classes deal with commercial subjects. Photo shows a group of students on their way to class at Metropolitan High School. Photo dated: August 17, 1934.
