Description	Panoramic view looking east on an unpaved 1st Street from near Hill Street circa 1888. The first cross street is Broadway, where a streetcar is turning the corner onto 1st Street. The Times Building is on the northeast corner of 1st and Broadway, and the Tally Ho Stables is on the northwest corner. The Metropolitan Stables is at right, on the south side of 1st. St. Vibiana's Church steeple is in the right distance. Numerous other buildings and houses are seen.
