Description	Families stroll down the midway at The Pike amusement park south of Ocean Blvd. in Long Beach. On the left, a metal-mesh trash can is full. A woman looks behind her as she pushes a stroller with a toddler in the seat and with a baby behind him. Penny arcades, cafes, bowling, and an archery concession stand are some of the amusements offered by The Pike.; Started in 1902, The Pike amusement park ran until 1979.
