Description	View of the altar located inside St. Hilary Church of Perpetual Adoration showing a large "floating" crucifix hanging down from the ceiling, which is actually attached to wires; several hanging lamps can also be seen. The crucifix, a cross with a representation of Jesus' body, or corpus, is a principal symbol of the Christian religion; it emphasizes Christ's sacrifice - His death by crucifixion. Small potted palms and two long banners adorn the otherwise unpretentious altar. St. Hilary Church of Perpetual Adoration is located at 5465 S. Citronell Ave. in the city of Pico Rivera.
