Description	Inside view of St. Anthony Catholic Church, built in 1955 and located at 1901 S. San Gabriel Blvd in the city of San Gabriel. Photo of a long stained glass window consisting of several images: a cross, a dove with a halo, and an orb or sphere. In general, the dove as a Christian emblem signifies the Holy Spirit either personally or in His works. It can also signify the Christian soul, not the human soul as such, but as indwelt by the Holy Spirit. The photo is completely black, except for the light that has filtered through the window. Stained glass windows have been described as 'illuminated wall decorations' and were commonly used in churches for decorative and informative purposes. Many windows, like the one seen here, are donated by members of a congregation in memory of their loved ones. Photo dated: December 23, 2006.
