Description	Mr & Mrs. Morton Silverman pose under an umbrella as they stand in front of the entrance to Home of Peace Mausoleum and Chapel in East Los Angeles. Vines frame the large, entrance arch that encloses a Star of David. Home of Peace Cemetary is the successor to the first Jewish cemetery in Los Angeles. Orginally founded as the cemetery of the Hebrew Benevolent Society in 1855 in Chávez Ravine, it was moved to its current location at 4334 Whittier Bloulevard in 1902.
