Description	View is of Wilshire Boulevard, looking west near Alvarado Street. This photograph was taken prior to the Wilshire construction, and shows light traffic flowing along the street. Visible in the distance are the Asbury Apartments, designed by Norman W. Alpaugh & Clarence H. Russel in 1924; the Elks Building, designed by Curlett and Beelman and built between 1923-1924, it would later be called the Park Plaza Hotel; and the Arcady Hotel designed by Walker and Eisen in 1927. Photograph dated October 1, 1936.; One of two photographs documenting the site. For a later view, see image #00092837.
