Description	Exterior view of Cabot's Old Indian Pueblo at Desert Hot Springs. It is a multi-story structure built in modified Hopi style of adobe brick and plaster with traditional vegas. The photo is signed by Cabot Yerxa. The structure has 35 rooms and four stories in places and was built as a tribute to the Hopis. It was called Cabot's Castle by the locals and was built by painter Cabot Yerxa, the founder of Desert Hot Springs in 1913. He constructed beginning in 1943, using found materials and hand-made adobe bricks. He built until he died in March 1965. The building served as a museum and was open to the public. Its location is 67616 East Desert View Avenue.
