Historical Data	According to the Historical Society of the Pomona Valley web site, "The Pomona Ebell Club was organized in March of 1897 and was Pomona's oldest womens's organization until they disbanded in 2004. The members met in churches and other borrowed spaces until they were able to raise the funds to build the club house on the corner of Pearl and Garey. The building was completed in 1910 with the opening ceremony being held on Thursday evening, October 13, 1910. The original grounds comprised a half block. The original building contained a reception hall, parlor, dining room, and a large kitchen and was designed by prominent local architect Ferdinand Davis. The total cost for the building and grounds was $11,000. The building was moved to its present location on Holt and Caswell in 1922 and the construction of the large two story auditorium with dressing rooms and seating 300 was completed in 1924." The building now serves as the Pomona Ebell Museum of History.
