Historical Data	Henry T. Gage was the 20th Governor of Caifornia, who served from 1899 to 1903. Olvera Street, the oldest street in the city of Los Angeles, opened with great festivity as a colorful Mexican marketplace on Easter Sunday (April 20th), 1930.
Description	Close-up view of a large metal cauldron, or kettle, located in front of the Avila Adobe on Olvera Street. A portion of the sign reads, "...[illegible]... was presented by Arthur G. and...[illegible]... son and grandson of Governor Henry T. Gage direct descendants of Jose Maria Antonio Lugo of Rancho San Antonio. The cauldron was used in the early days for maiz".
