Historical Data	Los Angeles City Hall was designed by John and Donald Parkinson, John C. Austin, and Albert C. Martin, and was completed in 1928. The Federal Courthouse and U.S. Post Office Building was designed by architects Gilbert Stanley Underwood and Louis A. Simon and was built in 1937-1940, at a cost of over $8 million. Allied Architects designed the Hall of Justice in 1922.
Description	View 2: Aerial view of Los Angeles Civic Center with City Hall, 200 N. Spring St., as the focal point. To the right of City Hall is the Federal Courthouse and United States Post Office building. Across from (behind) City Hall is the Hall of Records. The Hall of Justice is next to a partially graded hill, which still contains houses on top.
