Description	The Southern California Festival of Allied Arts began in 1934, and by 1935 included 6,000 competitors in music, sculpture, drama, handicraft competitions and other categories. Photo 1 shows Mrs. Grace Widney Mabee, chairman of the event, congratulating Sten Englund, the 1935 winner of the $1,000 male vocalist award in the category of Vocalists in the Southern California Festival of Allied Arts. Photo dated: 1935.
