Description	View 2: El Serrano Market, located at 3817-29 W. Sixth Street and Serrano, was built in 1929 to the cost of $25,000. The architect was H. C. Deckbar and two known owners were Charles J. Hildesheim and Joseph R. Schiller. The market sold fruits, vegetables, groceries and included a delicatessen and a florist. Cars are parked outside this drive-in market and Pacific Electric streetcar tracks are visible on the street in the foreground. Carson Cleaners and Dyers occupies the end unit. Photo dated: Jan., 1931.
