Description	Photo shows the dramatic rescue of William Dredge (arrow) by Herald-Express reporter Niesen Himmel (extreme left). Himmel saw Dredge being pulled down in the mire, and ran into the mud despite the danger, and held onto Dredge until help came. Three flood control workmen help pull Dredge out of the mud.
