Description	Exterior view of Security Pacific Plaza in November 1977. Built in 1973-75, it was designed by architect A. C. Martin and Associates. It is located on the southeast corner of South Flower and West 3rd Street. This 55-story formalist tower has facades accentuated by 36 vertical piers sheathed in Spanish granite. The entrance of the tower has a large red arched steel sculpture by Alexander Calder. The sculpture frames another building by A. C. Martin, John C. Austin and Parkinson and Parkinson: City Hall (1926-28).
