Description	Exterior view of Samson Tire and Rubber Company building, also called "The Citadel." An industrial office and manufacturing plant, built as a walled Babylonian (or Assyrian) city; modeled after famous ziggurats and fortified walls of the ancient city of Khorsabad. Priest-Kings and other creatures adorn the walls. View shows the front entrance of the building at 5675 Telegraph Road, City of Commerce. Wording on top of the building reads, "Home of U.S. tires." Two large signs at the front of the building reads, "U.S. Royal Tires." In 1990, it became the Citadel Outlets. Date built: 1929-30. Architects: Morgan, Walls and Clements.
