Historical Data	This Goodhue-esque structure has a steel frame covered in granite-like terra cotta on California granite base with classical detailing at the base (Greek main entrance and Romanesque arcades); its Moderne campanile-like tower was influenced by Ziggurat construction. It was designed by associated architects Austin, Parkinson and Martin, and is located at 200 N. Spring Street, on the southeast corner of S. Spring and W. Temple streets in Downtown's L.A. Civic Center.
Description	View of the opening of City Hall in Los Angeles, decorated and lighted at night. The building was completed in 1928. It was the tallest building in Los Angeles, by law, until the 1950s. Designed by associated architects Austin, Parkinson, Parkinson and Martin.
