Description	Photograph caption reads: "The 20th annual 10-mile Malibu time trials, kicking off the 1979 bicycle season, drew a field of 205 contestants. The trials were held on Webb Way in Malibu, parallel to the Pacific Coast Highway, with the cyclists competing separately along a 5-mile course. Yesterday's fastest time--22 minutes, 58 seconds--was achieved by Jerry Meyers of the North Hollywood Wheelmen, which was one of the sponsoring organizations. The competition was for personal achievement--the only awards were ribbons". Photograph dated: March 5, 1979.
